The helicopter is your chairlift
Instead of a fixed lift serving one mountain, a helicopter moves your small group across a vast area of terrain, dropping you at the top of untracked runs and picking you up at the bottom. That's the whole idea of how heli-skiing works: access to fresh snow and remote peaks that no road or lift could ever reach.
CMH operates across more than three million acres of the British Columbia interior, so on a normal day you ski run after run of powder without ever crossing your own tracks.
