Selkirk & Monashee Mountains

Revelstoke

Big-mountain powder from a downtown basecamp.

About Revelstoke

Revelstoke earns its reputation as one of the great ski towns on the planet, where deep, frequent storms, sprawling terrain, and an easy-to-reach location all line up in your favour. Rather than a remote fly-in lodge, this program is based right in the heart of town, so your day starts steps from restaurants, coffee shops, and the buzz of a real mountain community.

The snowpack here is something special, with regular storm cycles delivering the light, dry powder that keeps skiers coming back season after season. Add ready access to a huge and varied tenure, and you have a destination that suits everyone from a first-time heli guest to a seasoned rider chasing serious vertical.

The terrain

Spread across roughly 1,600 square kilometres straddling the Selkirk and Monashee ranges, the terrain runs the full spectrum: gladed forests with plenty of spacing, open rolling bowls, and high glaciated alpine. With more than 240 named runs, the guides can dial the day up or down to match the group and conditions.

That range is exactly what makes Revelstoke so welcoming. Nervous first-timers can ease in on mellow, sheltered pitches, while stronger skiers point it down steep tree lines and committing alpine faces.
